Ashtanga Yoga
Tuesday 9.40 - 10.40am
Join me for a small, intimate practice, hosting just nine students at a time. We go through a modified version of the Ashtanga Primary Series. Each week, we repeat the same poses, which allows you to see swift improvements in your practice. Whether it is your first time or you are advanced in your Ashtanga journey, this class is open to all. With a focus on alignment and anatomy, we hold the poses for a longer time, giving you the grace to find the right depth and adjustment to suit your yoga journey.
As an Ashtanga-trained teacher, I am there to be hands-on with personalised assistance and a depth of knowledge.
Hatha Yoga & Sound Meditation
Wednesday 6 - 7.15pm
If you are looking for a full mind-body experience, then this is the class is for you. Held in the beautiful historic building among the Hatfield House estate, you will feel a sense of calm and peace as soon as you enter the studio. We practice 50 minutes of movement with an extended 25 minutes of healing sound meditation.
Hatha yoga is traditional with a steady pace, the poses are held long enough to build heat and intensity into the practice. Sound meditation uses the healing vibrations of crystal bowls and other healing instruments to offer your mind and body a safe space to rest and restore.
Power Yoga
Monday 7.15 - 8.15pm
A dynamic and energetic class, Power Yoga at RISE Gym is designed to build strength and endurance as well as flexibility and mobility.
This class incorporates bodyweight exercises combined with balance and creative transitions to bring you a dynamic workout.
The perfect full mind-body workout on its own but also a great way to supplement your other forms of exercising, such as increasing mobility in weight lifting or stretching out muscles that are tight from cardio.
You do not need to be a member of RISE Gym to attend this class, just call RISE Gym Welwyn Garden City to reserve your place.
